But I replaced the missing slider with a bit of tape, just like we<br>
used to do with VHS cassettes..., and guess what? It was writable again<br>
(though, mind you: it was somewhat harder to layer the tape into that<br>
space on the SD card that it ever was to tape over the write-protect<br>
hole on VHS cassettes...).<br>
