The QA Engineer provides quality assurance for RAID Storage
software. The ideal candidate has experience with
compatibility testing, a high attention to detail, and
expertise in managing and troubleshooting different test
environments. The candidate must have solid experience
performing automated regression testing, as well as manual
testing and must thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced
environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure quality of RAID software as assigned.
Develop and maintain tests and documentation for
compatibility with various platforms.
Meet critical production deadlines and work effectively with
the team.
Ensure that identified bugs are either fixed or
appropriately prioritized and follow up to ensure
resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3-years experience with quality assurance.
Former work experience with RAID and storage strongly
preferred.
Experience with various forms of Linux. Understands how to
install the OS, is capable of automating the installation of
the OS. Understands RPMs and can build custom kernels.
Working knowledge of Perl. Able to write, read, debug, and
step through Perl scripts.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work independently as needed and build processes.
Ability to meet critical deadlines while managing multiple
priorities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
experience.
