Hi,

This is probably a long-shot, but I thought I'd put
out a couple feelers on the list and see if there is
anything out there.

I am retired from public safety due to a
"line-of-duty" injury, (I include this as a
clarification, not as a plea), and currently I am
feeling the "pinchin' on the pension"...

I am seeking a position that could be full or
part-time, permanent or temporary.  Salary wise, I'd
like to be in the area of $12K to 18K/year. 

I am located approximately mid-way between Keene and
Nashua, NH just off route 101, and I am committed to
this location for at least 2.5 more years.  

The only major restrictions on what I can do for
employment are that I need a position where I can sit
most of the time and be able to stand and move about
at least hourly.  I have my own medical plan as part
of my retirement package, so medical is not a factor
in any employment situation.  

My computer skills are as follows:  I can assemble my
own system, and have experience with Linux, OSX, and
MS.  I've worked with various flavors of Linux, OSX
Panther and Tiger Server, MS Windows 2000, XP,
2000/2003 Server, 2000/2003 Exchange, and 2003
Sharepoint Portal Server. I have no formal education
in computer sciences beyond some basic courses in
college and during my career in public safety.  I was
certified as LEAPS/NCIC operator while in public
safety, used VAX and Alpha systems in both college and
public safety as well as having an Alpha machine as
part of my home network, which also includes PC's, and
Mac's.  

I am reasonably proficient with most office equipment,
filing, and reports, I am a quick learner and was
often chosen to learn various systems at my jobs over
the years, whether it was technical/computer related
or electro-mechanical.  

I'm willing to begin at "entry level" and prove
myself.  Also willing to trade some hours in exchange
for training in new areas.  I'd like to keep my
commute as close to home as possible, but would
consider distance.  

My academic background is in Criminal Justice, Human
Services Administration, and Art.
