IT Manager / Senior System Administrator
Westford, MA, USA

Zuken USA Inc. is looking for a Systems Administrator to be our
one-person IT department.  This position reports to senior management
and directly supports the end users.

Responsibilities include: maintaining an environment consisting of
Linux, Solaris, and Windows NT/2000 servers, Windows 2000/XP desktops,
Cisco networking gear, and Nortel phones; documenting IT policies and
procedures; training users on use of applications and systems;
technology budgeting and purchasing; collaboration with overseas
offices; providing remote network access and telephone support to a
primarily mobile work force.

Required Qualifications:
   * 5+ years of IT background
   * Excellent oral and written communications skills
   * Strong Linux AND Windows experience
   * Experience with: Mail services (sendmail, IMAP); TCP/IP and
     Ethernet networking; DNS; LDAP; VPN; FTP; Apache; Samba

Additional Desirable Qualifications:
   * Degree in CS, MIS, or other related field
   * Experience in IT Management
   * Experience with: Solaris; OpenBSD; HP/UX; Cisco PIX firewalls and
     Catalyst switches; Nortel ICS phone systems; EDA software; CRM
     systems (Clientele, ACT)
   * Ability to maintain telco and network wiring, laptops, rack mount
     servers, printers, and common office equipment
   * Experience with: NFS; MailScanner; SpamAssassin; Request Tracker;
     Wikis; RPM; SSL; SQL (MS SQL and MySQL); AMANDA backup; LVM;
     PERL; Shell scripting
   * Willing to travel up to 5%
