Note to the OP (Original Poster) and anyone else who is fortunate
enough to read this before posting a job as a Microsoft Word

Job Summary and Major Responsibilities
Responsible for architecting, designing and implementing software
application solutions for Linux based, next generation communications
products.

Note: Although this position requires strengths in both 'C 'and Java
programming, a significant portion of responsibilities will be
Java/GUI development.  The GUI Server, embedded in the product, is
written in 'C'.  Since the server is part of the solution, solid 'C'
skills are also needed.
Qualifications/Experience
This position requires strong knowledge in 'C' programming, Java and
Linux development environment.

Required:

C programming language must be strong
Extensive experience developing software within the Linux operating system
Java Application and Java Applet programming
Web Design using Java Applets (Java Script a definite plus)

Additional skills that would be plusses but not required:
Experience with Java Swing/AWT/JavaBeans components
Knowledge in Serial Communications and associated protocols
Knowledge in IP Protocols, Routing technologies and associated routing protocols
Knowledge in the areas of security, RADIUS, Secure ID, SSH and
encryption standards
Knowledge and experience in the areas of Remote Access, LAN, WAN or Security
Education
B.S. in Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent)
