(1) Take technical leadership of the major overhaul needed in our
Fedora Account system, including possible OpenID/single sign on work.

(2) Drive the integration of Fedora Directory Server into the rest of
the Fedora Project, which has direct impact on what we're trying to
do for the next release of Fedora.

(3) Expand and refine the metrics and statistics that we are
gathering. We have more now than we used to, but there's so much room
to explore in this area.

(4) Be a leader in coming up with a plan to re-architect the entire
Fedora website and infrastructure setup. This person can work
directly with the rest of the Red Hat production operations staff.

(5) In the same vein as 4, this person will be able to understand how
we split Fedora resources between various hosting datacenters, and be
the point person for all of that.

(6) A true Fedora Infrastructure leader, who can manage the rest of
our volunteer sysadmins, recruit more, and make sure the project is
thriving. Community and open-source project leadership, in essence.

(7) Be a major contributor from a development perspective in all of
the above efforts. Lead not only from a "vision" perspective, but
also from a coding perspective. This is a job that will require you
to be able to write a lot of code at times.

(8) System administration tasks much like any other job. For example,
when we release Fedora and our servers start taking a beating, the
person in this role will need to understand how to handle a situation
like that, and be able to coordinate and work with other sysadmins to
deal with it.
