Russound, a multi-room audio company based in Newmarket, NH, is looking
to hire a Linux Software Engineer.

This position is appropriate for an entry to mid-level candidate with
1-5 years of experience. A successful candidate will be passionate about
working with Linux and have experience in the following areas:

* Debian and/or Ubuntu Linux distributions (others, especially embedded
distros, a plus).
* Systems Administration skills (understanding the boot process,
where/how daemons are configured, etc.)
* Shell scripting with bash and perl.
* CGI scripting.

The following technologies would be a huge plus:

* Web development skills (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
* Experience using DHTML/AJAX for rich, web-based user interfaces.
* Experience with XML-based network protocols.
* C/C++ development skills.
* Familiarity with cross-compiling software for different architectures.
