Sr to Prin Level consultant (6 mths)
Our Client is looking for a Linux Engineer to port their existing
systems software platform (drivers, BSP's, kernel, applications) from
2.4 to 2.6 Linux. This effort has just started and and THEY have the
kernel up and running (bash shell).

Will upgrade the existing build infrastructure for loadable kernel
modules to comply with Linux kbuild.
Port existing loadable kernel modules, applications, and libraries
written for version 2.4.20 to 2.6.17.
Apply third-party and proprietary patches to the kernel source.
Assist with hardware and user mode Linux-based simulator startup and
initialization.

Ideally, we need someone who has worked on this exact type of porting
effort and has dealt with many of the issues/challenges in this type of
port.

Experience with UML is required since they use User ModeLinux as their
Emulation/Development tool.

John
