The Customer Success Engineer provides technical guidance, training and
limited project management during professional service customer engagements.
They are, in many ways, the post-sale "face of the Company" and forge a
permanent relationship that started during the sales process.

Role:
The Customer Success Engineer provides onsite, at customer locations,
training and technical guidance to new customers during the implementation
of the solution. The CSE engagements combine best practice information with
subject matter expertise. This program is designed and offered to ensure
that new customers have successful implementations and recognize value on
their investments. This resource will be responsible for material
development and maintenance in concert with product releases. This person
will work closely with other members of the Services team evaluating,
testing and rolling out future product releases. 

Experience: 
Ten years of relevant experience supporting a distributed software
technology running in a Windows environment. 
* Prior experience supporting a Windows based software product. Ideally an
agent based product
* Experience in the enterprise security space
* Experience supporting/managing multiple, simultaneous engagements
* Prior experience delivering a Professional Services/consulting product
* Willingness to travel upwards of 40-60%

This role will need to be filled by a senior level resource that is
comfortable living in both the Customer*s realm as well as the Support and
Engineering environments. 

Skills:
* Proficient in Windows 2000, XP, 2003 server and supporting
technologies/products
* Ability to function as an individual contributor detached from the
corporate environment
* Ability to handle/manage multiple simultaneous engagements
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Content development and delivery skills
* Background or experience in project management
