Our client west of Boston has a couple of openings for strong embedded Linux engineers for long-term contracts. Must be US citizen or Perm Resident, must be local.

Embedded Linux (RTOS) Engineers (12+ mths contracts, west of Boston)
Engineers will design, develop and deliver drivers and protocols for a wireless product.
Engineer must have experience with low level embedded RTOS design and development including BSP's, board bring up and collaborating with the electrical engineers.
Qualifications include:
o Extensive experience with embedded Linux including kernel development (other RTOS's such as VxWorks, Integrity, Nucleus, etc. may be considered)
o Experience with wireless embedded devices
o Experience in audio technologies
o Experience developing embedded apps for small devices with processing power a consideration.
o Strong C/C++ skills.  Assembly would be a strong plus
o Experience with OOD.
