I've used Linux as my primary <br>OS at every job I've had since 2000 (even when that wasn't technically <br>supported). I for-real eat the dogfood.<br><br>My most recent job has been as senior cloud admin (Openstack) for a <br>telecom company in Billerica. Alas, it merged, and while I survived the <br>"real" layoffs, my boss -- the former CTO -- and his underlings didn't <br>survive the political fallout that showed up four months further along.<br><br>And, while I'm an admin, I love to automate/streamline processes. Which <br>means coding. I'm *not* what I consider a "programmer:" I'd love <br>programming to flow through my veins, but it doesn't. But I do write <br>code that gets the job done -- for example, I've just finished writing a <br>wrapper for packer.io that automates image building and provisioning, as <br>well as verifying we have the latest cloud image and <br>downloading/installing into Openstack if we don't -- all without using <br>the Openstack CLI tools, which kind of suck; I'm coding against the API, <br>generally using Ruby.<br><br>Anyway, I'm blabbing enough. If you know of any positions -- preferably <br>within shouting distance of 495, or northward -- that might fit, please <br>let me know.
