Debian flamewar (was: Hello?)

Generally, if a product is good and I have a need for it and the price is 
reasonable, I don't mind paying. However, most Microsoft products IMHO are 
quite overpriced. I also try not to get into the disto wars. I prefer SuSE. 
I used to use Debian, but gave up after a while.
