Newbie needs help...

How right your are!!!  Truth be told, one of the searches I did for
qmail+something-or-the-other was what led me to the GNHLUG... I didn't
get the info I was looking for but I certainly got something useful.

The really sad thing is that when I first installed Linux several years
ago, I was using that server for some basic network stuff (SMB, caching
DNS) and Java development and managed to get all my answers from the
HowTo's when I got stuck... all of a sudden I was thrown from never
needing to ask for help to not knowing where to look it.  When you start
working with something like a mail server where there are different
distributions and tools you can connect together, its harder to find
information that explicitely applies to what you're trying to do.  My
first mistake was using Yahoo instead of Google... I found a ton of
links for every +qmail+something-or-the-other search I did, but all the
community posts ended up taking me to a list that's no longer active
(archives only).  Made me feel like I was the only person out there who
still needed help :)
