[sorry if this gets posted twice, email just isn't cooperating with me]
I installed a new log reporting tool (phpOpenTracker which is very cool
by the way) recently on my website, and found out that I am getting a
decent number of daily visits by people searching for "iis vs apache".
In fact, I'm on the first page of Google's search results. (The article
is at http://www.freephile.com/compare/apache.php)
I updated the article today, and included links and commentary from
other websites, including references such as an interview with Ken Coar
(who I've seen sometimes on this list). I just wanted to let folks know
about my little webpage promoting Apache, and open it up to your
comments and suggestions.
Do you know of any other good resources that I should point to. The
article is aimed at IT Managers or other small to medium-sized business
types that would hire a consultant to help them with their server needs
or migration strategy.
I am also interested in helping you find consulting business. Do you
have expertise in Apache and want to be listed on my bios page? That
too seems to get visited often. I simply want to let businesses know
that there are plenty of reason to use Apache, and there are plenty of
resources and people out there who will help them.
Please note: I just updated the whole system that runs my website, so if
you have any comments on that, or bug reports, I would be grateful to
receive those privately.
Thanks,
Greg
