Man, the other list has had some good stuff lately :)

I know how hard the job market still is, so I thought I would pass this
along.

I think this is in the Lowell/Chelmsford area.

Subject: Job Opening at Starent Networks

Our Release Engineering / Build Tools / Makefile Guru position is open once
again. If you're interested, or know anyone who's interested, encourage them
to send resumes to <bristucc at sw.starentnetworks.com>. We don't have a formal
job description for this, but here's the skillset we're looking for:

* GNU Make

* Bourne Shell

* GNU/Linux or any UNIX or UNIX-like system experience

* Perl (preferably with objects)

* Revision Control / SCM systems (CVS, RCS, SCCS, or BitKeeper)

* GCC (especially cross compilers)

Since the product code is written in C, with some C++, a good candidate
would have a good understanding of those programming languages, at least to
the extent required to perform basic merges and fix simple compile failures.
A successful candidate should be a programmer with a strong background in
computer science or software engineering.
