sharing disk space between W2K and Linux?

Good question.  I was simply looking for a solution based on 
parameters provided to me: "We need to be able to run the same tests 
under both Linux and Win2K, and we need to use this same disk space."

I was led to believe that they needed to write data under one OS, 
then access it under the other while running some tests.

As it turns out, they don't actually need to do this, and when 
finally pressed to explain what they were doing, they simply wanted 
to determine the best configuration of each type of client, Win2K and 
Linux.  I then explained to them, that if that's what they were 
trying to do, sharing the disk space this way would actually decrease 
the performance of both clients :)

They're off now re-configuring the clients and re-formatting under 
different file systems for each test :)
