RH 8.0 and Win XP ??

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that I dual boot with WinXP Pro and RedHat
8.0. I use GRUB to do the boot selection and have had not problem using
either of them. Of course, I have only the single hard drive in my laptop.
They seem to coexist peacefully so far! ;-)

Subject: RH 8.0 and Win XP ??

My son has recently Installed Win XP Pro on the primary IDE drive,
/dev/hda1, and Red Hat 8.0 on the first drive in the SCSI chain,
/dev/sda1. I instructed him to tell it to use the Boot Sector of the
drive it installed to(/dev/sda1), and he can boot fine with the floppy,
as I haven't ever tested WinXP with Linux. Has anyone on the list done
this?

Does Linux play nicely with WinXP? Should he use Grun instead of lilo?
I have used it(Linux) fairly frequently with the older Win9x stuff with
no probs with Lilo, but am unfamiliar with Grub...

Alll advice/suggestions welcome..

Thanks,
JFeole
