home dir in cygwin

Thanks Bruce.  I didn't think it was that simple.  Actually, I didn't 
mean "alternate" in the sense "in addition to", I meant "alternative", 
"instead of".  Basically I just wanted to switch my home directories, 
which this seems to do just great.

Only problem -- I need to have this happen every time I log in.  So I 
guess I just put it in /.bashrc ?

Cygwin, while definitely better than DOS, is kind of weird because the 
filesystem isn't arranged the same.  (For instance, in the above 
paragraph -- whoever thought you'd see a .bashrc in the root directory?) 
  Also, like the CMD.exe program, I can't seem to stretch the window out 
beyond the default width (though at least I can adjust the height).  In 
other words, while it's nice to have, it isn't a substitute for the Real 
Thing[tm]!
