Handling inbound calls while dialed-up

That's my understanding to.. You get a call and the normal beep comes thru
along with any callerID tones with that, the software for the modem reads
that and displays the number on your screen and you can take the call or
not. If you take the call it hangs up on the ISP and you pick up the
phone. When the call is over the modem automatically redials the ISP and
you continue where you left off.

You don't actually talk on the phone and surf at the same time.
