True, there is still a lot of SunOS 4.x out there, however:

	- Sun no longer supports in on new hardware
	- Sun AFAIK, no longer sells support for it
	- Anything that is still running it can probably be replaced 
	  by Linux :)

So, it is effectively dead.  You can't buy it, you can't buy support 
for it, and if the hardware dies, you will probably not replace that 
machine with a new Sun.
