You know, you just reminded me, it's been some time since either
Derek or I put in a plug for our 'must have' list'o'books :) So,
without any further delay, if you run a Linux system, and consider
yourself even somewhat of a sysadmin (even if it's for your own
system at home), then here's the list of must have books:
* Title: "Linux Administration Handbook"
* Authors: Evi Nemeth, Garth Snyder, Trent R. Hein, Adam Boggs
* Paperback: 890 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 1.35 x 9.20 x 7.00
* Publisher: Prentice Hall; 1st edition (March 25, 2002)
* ISBN: 0130084662
* Title: "Essential System Administration"
* Author: Aeleen Frisch
* Paperback: 758 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 1.50 x 9.25 x 7.00
* Publisher: O'Reilly & Associates; 2nd edition (January 15, 1995)
* ISBN: 1565921275
And, if you *really* want to learn about the UNIX/Linux environment,
this is a must have:
* Title: "The UNIX Programming Environment"
* Authors: Brian W. Kernighan and Rob Pike
* Paperback: 357 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 0.70 x 9.23 x 7.00
* Publisher: Prentice Hall Computer Books; (March 1984)
* ISBN: 013937681X
And, of course, this book isn't bad to have around either:
* Title: Running Linux (3rd Edition)
* Authors: Matt Welsh, Matthias Kalle Dalheimer,
Lar Kaufman, Matthew Welsh
* Paperback: 730 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 1.50 x 9.25 x 7.00
* Publisher: O'Reilly & Associates; 3rd edition (August 1999)
* ISBN: 156592469X
Derek, did I miss any of the essential books :)

It may look like I'm just sitting here doing nothing,
but I'm really actively waiting for all my problems to go away.
If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!
