Depending on the quality level you need, you can get a variety of things. Personally, I 
have the original Quickcam, which I use with the drivers at:

http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net

However, the quality is pretty crap. There are a number of chipsets supported under 
these drivers (or others out there), although there are a few that still aren't (and 
may not ever be.) I found that a lot of cams that are around use the ov511 chipset 
which has pretty decent support.

A lot of it depends on the quality you want or need. If it's for non-personal use, I 
might just suggest finding the one that offers the quality you need before you go 
worrying too much about Linux drivers.
