Want to reverse engineer Yahoo's multiple photo upload

Hi,
I have about 1.6 gigs of pictures on a Linux box that I'd like to put
on Yahoo's free photo album site. Using a browser in Windows a
multiple photo upload feature (after installing some browser software
plugin) is provided that allows drag and drop. I think this is an
active X app since this feature is not offered when I have a Java
enabled Linux browser (Firefox) looking at the upload page.

What I like to do is have a command line utility where I specify an
album and what files I'd like to upload (along with user/pass at
yahoo). Has anyone done this (Google didn't find me anything)?

Any tips on how to reverse engineer this? I have a wireless windows
laptop that I suspect won't work in promiscuous mode, so the only
other option I could think of is a http proxy program to capture the
data, provided the transfer is HTTP based.
