VPN's....

Quick question....

I usually just SSH and tunnel an X connection, but I'm curious...

Do any of you have a prefered VPN software under Linux?

FreeS/WAN seem to be no longer developed.
PPTP and ipsec are just too much of a PITA. (Been that. Done there.)
L2TP isn't supported by some cheap routers...

Anyone have suggestions? I was thinking of playing with:

Vtun: http://vtun.sourceforge.net/
amrita: http://amvpn.sourceforge.net/
OpenVPN: http://openvpn.sourceforge.net/

Anyone try any of these of have a better idea? I'm specifically looking
for a point-to-ethernet or full routed or bridge type vpn... anything
but point to point, preferably.

Brian
