Verizon DSL

Thanks for all the advice and political comments.  I did not expect such a long thread.
I am not going with Comcast cable because I have issues with them with their TV service.  If I did not live in a forest, I would use satellite TV.  It also would cost about $15/mo. more than DSL.

It appears that the consensus is that Verizon DSL works with Linux and there are no current serious service problems.  Correct me if I am wrong.
