To further the point and save some syllables, many users have taken to 
contracting Open Office.Org  to "OO-fice".  The less the product is 
'commonly known' as "Open Office" the bigger that loophole may get, 
though I'm not overly optimistic.

One would hope a convicted monopolist would garner some attention if it 
went after a free competitor in court.
