If, for whatever reason, you feel you must remain with Quickbooks, I
recommend running Windows natively. If you feel you must remain with
Quickbooks, it means you're running Windows. Trying to run
Windows-inside-Linux at that point is just sour grapes. Now you have
*two* platforms to worry about per computer. That's stupid.

Yah. MSDE is basically the MS SQL backend with a limited user count
(I think it's 10 users). The next version is going to be called "MS
SQL 2005 Express".
