Yep - some firewalls where you pay per connection have a default 
connection timeout so you don't fill up your connection table.  Yes, 
I'm giving you the hairy eyeball, Sonicwall.    Fun note: this also 
effectively shuts down your network connection if you run nmap across 
one.

Open source firewalls don't typically have this limitation.
