Voip teleophony - Anyone know Packet-8 or others?

If I had the time or inclination to hack this stuff, it might matter
to me.  As it is, it needed to pass the "spouse test", and barely
succeeded at that, to the point where I had to get my wife a cell
phone from the evil empire which brings my monthly savings down to
almost nothing.

Of course, there is the argument that she needed the cell phone
*before* our swtich to Vonage, and really, I should have had a
$110/month phone bill, so in theory, I'm still saving $50/month on my
landline...

now, if I couldn't only could only figure out how get VoIP from a Cell
phone simple enough for my wife to use....
