This is the one that's the DVD drive issue I'm seeing:
   https://bugzilla.redhat.com/beta/show_bug.cgi?id=138119

I'm glad to hear it's not my particular hardware unit, but I'm
surprised I could install FC2 and FC3 from CD and DVD respectively but
you couldn't. I'm using a Pioneer DVR-109 drive.

A point of order for the membership - I feel, at least in part, that
reporting these into RedHat's bugzilla is inefficient as this is more
of a kernel problem than a Fedora/RedHat problem. I suspect the
appropriate kernel developers are probably not haunting RedHat
Bugzilla.

On the other hand, RedHat at least gives the bugs a bit of attention
and people get paid to run these down, whereas messages to lkml
frequently go unread, at least as far as evidence admits. I'd like to
hear others' opinions on the kernel bug reporting options.
