Causes of router/switch hangs?

If the operation of the MRI were locking up your equipment it would be
happening more than once a day. They try to schedule MRI facilities with
as little down time as possible to maximize use, number of patients
seen, (and revenue :-) ).

Also, I believe the truck/trailer mounted MRI systems usually have their
own power feed so while its possible that a power glitch caused by
turning on the MRI system could affect you once a day, that seems
unlikely as well.

All of the above is just speculation, but worth a passing thought.
