Folks-
Some of you might have interest- attendance is open. Additionally, they're

Subject: April 7th Summit on the Future of IT Careers for NH
Colleagues,
As some of you have heard, a collaboration of educational and professional
groups is sponsoring a dialog on the future I.T. competencies that will be
needed in the NH workforce over the next 5+ years. Attached is an
announcement for this event. If you could please distribute this to
relevant interested individuals that would be most
useful. Obviously, please consider coming your-self, or having the
appropriate persons in your organization join us. Our hope is to have
industry folks participating in the "audience" as well as the handful we
have specifically asked to sit on the panel, and of course individual
professionals as well as folks in education (including training
organizations, etc.) are also welcomed. The press is welcome, since getting
visibility for these opportunities into the public (and particularly into
younger folks) is key if we are going to actually develop the work force
that is needed.
Key info:
Thursday April 7th, 2-6PM (may arrive at 5PM break for coffee and to join us
in a 'summary' session); RSVP please to NHIEEE at aol.com. Location: Walker
Auditorium, Frost Hall, So. NH University, 2400 N River Road. (www.snhu.edu
has directions)
Thank you for helping to get the word out .. And I hope to see you there!
