I usually steer folk looking for components to PC Authority on North Elm 
Street in Manchester.
They are pretty knowledgable, have fair (though not spectacular) 
pricing. Last I stopped in their
store they had Linux running on at least one of the demo systems. From 
what I've heard, they
have good customer service. I've always had good answers from Jason there.
