Astute observations about MSFT v ODF

Stephen Walli makes some astute observations in his recent blog
post[1] about how and why the Open Document standard in particular is
forcing the hand of Microsoft.  He likens the current battle to those
that other major market leaders like DEC have faced in the past, and
predicts a similar fate for the company.  It's a good and short read:
