Assuming you mean real GNU/Linux and not Cygwin (GNU without Linux
kernel), need real Windows not WINE, and want to avoid XEN/VMware/QEMU
for whatever reasons ...

The Ubuntu Hacks "Rough Cuts" that OReilly was handing out at
LinuxWorld has a recipe for installing coLinux/Debian under Windows
and then upgrading it to Ubuntu.

[There's also a Gentoo recipe on the web; likely others.]

DistroWatch says CoLinux (Cooperative Linux) is *not* a Distro, but
rather "Cooperative Linux (or coLinux) is a port of the Linux kernel
that allows it to run cooperatively alongside another operating system
on a single machine. For instance, it allows one to freely run Linux
on Windows 2000/XP."
