  A number of people have pointed out that it's often easier to buy a
cheap SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) router off the shelf and use
that.  But that's no fun!  :)

  In particular, the "Linux IP Masquerade HOWTO" describes most (if
not all) of what you need to know.
