Yes :-)
I'm creating a Debian installer that installs the very bare minimum Debian system as well as a ton of packages that we have created and all of their dependancies, which are very specific in the versions. It will be used for a few different things:
1) Quick installs on desktops. This really isn't a big deal because I have my own apt-repo with everything in it that I need.
2) Installation of lab systems. These systems need to be kept identical when they are installed, and they need the ability to re-install them at any given moment to have them back to their original state.
3) Potentially a hands-off product installer.
Everything works fine except for that one line in the preseed. If I comment out the line, the installer stops at the task selection point and I can de-select the Desktop and Standard system options and it goes on happily. Other then that one option, it is a completely hands-off install.
I used PGI about 2 years ago, and it was great. However, it required a *LOT* of hacking to get it to work with a 2.6 kernel, and I remember it took me a very long time to get it all to work correctly.
Thanks,
Kenny
