OT: Slingbox woes

Has anyone had any experience with slingmedia's slingbox?

What is a slingbox you say? Its a device that let's you watch *your* TV
over the internet. I thought "cool, I can watch my Tivo/MythTV/... while
I'm traveling."

Well, their tech support said they don't support network switches! I
sure wish they would have said that somewhere!

Oh well, this is what happens when one tries to work with proprietary
*ware. The vendor can hide useful information and you can't find out
what's real and what's not.
