Virtual Hosting recommendations?

I've been doing some administration work for a friend of mine who has a
couple of Verio's Virtual Private Servers, and so far we've been pretty
happy with them. They give you what appears to be a jailed FreeBSD
environment, and you can do pretty much anything you like with it. They
have a web interface for managing users, email, and web hosting, if
you want to do things their way, or you can just roll your own.

Price is in the $90/mo+ range, so it's probably not what your friend is
looking for. If you find someplace similar with a lower rate, I'd be
interested to know about it, been looking for something similar for
myself.
