Right, makes sense

Right... Now, what I'm concerned about: How do I get into the config
of the Linksys Router so I don't play host to my neighbor's computers
and war drivers?

For some reason, my SuSE 9.1 box no longer plays nice w/my monitor so
I can only interface with it via SSH from one of the other machines...

I'm looking at Yast right now and plum forgot how to get it to obtain
it's config via DHCP... my worry is that once that's set I won't know
how to ssh into it again!

No longer worried about Apache, or Postfix, etc.. for now, I'm letting
Media Temple do all that heavy lifting.

Well, I'd like, eventually, to have it running on my network and be
able to ssh and VNC into it from inside and outside my home network.

Yeah, I'm really going to have to go to school on this stuff.. seems
that, since this D-Link was given to me as an OEM from Verizon I am
unable to update the firmware on it ... but that's the least of my
predicaments at the moment.

I'm really concerned I'm going to lose all contact with the SuSE box ...
