We had a similar problem (Who'da thunk that in down-town Cambridge
someone else would have a wireless network too? :)

We had somewhere between 15 and 20 unsecured wireless nets within
reach. It was very annoying and very problematic. My network guy
finally got us these WAPs:

  Cisco ArrowNet 1200 Model: AIR-AP1231G-A-K9

And added 12Dbi directional antanas w/ 65 degree spread to them. The
directional antennae are the key, he has them all pointed "inwards" so
as not to listen for connections coming from outside are workspace.

He mentioned he still needs to tweak them from time to time as new
nets appear and old one disappear, but by and large, we're much
happier now.
