Well, if an implementor chose to be X compliant, one of the config
files they could opt to use are any of the several X config files,
/etc/X11/Xresource, ~/.Xdefaults, etc.

Doh! I wrote the spec before I added the header, then changed the
spec, but evidently somewhat incompletely :(
Of course, at least I *tried* to conform to the spec. I noticed you
didn't even make an attempt. Future infractions will not be tolerated! ;)
Here's the new spec:
X-Visually-Appealing-And-Easy-To-Sort-On: \
[ <date-when-the-mail-is-being-sent> ] \
[ <date-by-which-the-mail-should-arrive> ] \
[ <senders-address> ] \
[ <senders-public-gpg-key> ] \
[ <senders-social-security-number> ] \
[ <senders-home-phone-number> ] \
[ <list-of-identifying-characteristics-by-which-sender-can-be-recognized> ] \
[ <alternate-contact-in-case-we-cannot-reach-sender> ] \
[ <alternate-contact-home-phone-number> ] \
[ <list-of-identifying-characteristics-by-which-alt-contact-can-be-recognized> ] \
[ <subject-category-or-relevance-of-mail-to-the-list> ] \
[ <mailing-list-name AT-Sigil mailing-list-hosting-domain-name> ]
Please note that this mail is compliant to this version of the
X-Visually-Appealing-And-Easy-To-Sort-On specification.
