This box is being shown as a front end to MythTV. Koolu would normally
recommend their box as part of a "thin client" solution, with a larger
server doing the capture, decoding and then feeding the front end either
wired or wireless.

For example, this box has no connection for either OTA or Cable.  You
could buy a device that fits into the USB port that would do that
capture and decoding, but this system box is meant to be the quiet thing
in your room that allows you to display the TV, but also access an
Ubuntu desktop, do VoIP, etc.

Still, that takes a bit of CPU power, just to be the front end.  Our
Technical Director spent some time improving the X-server that came with
Ubuntu to make it be able to playback the video stream the way you saw
it, and still have enough power left over to handle VoIP calls, etc.
