I bought a similar Acer 5100 about 9 months ago (about the same price and specs). Mine
had the Atheros WIFI, and everything just worked with SuSE 10.1 except the audio.  I
haven't bothered to update the audio (cobbler's children syndrome), but I have been
happy with the system other than that.
