DST tip: make sure /etc/localtime is also right

The kb article on redhat's site states you have to run
redhat-config-date {or system-config-date depending on version}. Of
course they also mention that a recycle of daemons depending on
/etc/localtime or a reboot. I found crond was off an hour on some RHEL
3... Fun stuff. <sarcasm>Looking forward to the Dept of Energy report to
determine if we are going to continue doing this so we can change
everything back. </sarcasm>
