Importing Visio .vsd into Linux program?

I suggest you make a package of test files for the Inkscape developers
- e.g. an SVG file exported by Visio that does not use the
non-standard extension, a similar one that does use the extension, and
an export in some other file format so one can see what it's supposed
to look like.  They might eventually be able/willing to come up with a
more capable import or translation tool.
