OLPC - Nov 12 launch

Has anyone gotten further information about the "Give 1 Get 1" program on the One Laptop Per Child site?  I know they have a "reminder" program to that's supposed to start sending out emails before Nov 12th. I'm just curious if they've actually activated this yet.
