December Nashua/MerriLUG meeting... ideas?

Hi people!

The December 2007 meeting of MerriLUG (Nashua), as normally
scheduled, would occur on Thr 20 Dec. That is periously close to the
US Secular Shopping Holiday. It is likely that the regular meeting
location -- the upstairs function hall at Martha's Exchange -- will be
rented out by paying customers for a party.

There's been some small discussion among the volunteer coordinators.
The idea of a "real" GNHLUG X-Mas Party was floated, but shot down as
unlikely to generate sufficient commitment (i.e., paid RSVPs) to rent
the hall during prime holiday season.

So, we basically have no idea what to do. Baring a better idea, the
December Nashua meeting, if any, will likely consist of whoever shows
up to eat, drink, and swap war stories. In other words, just like a
regular meeting, but without that time in the middle where just one
person talks. ;-)

Ideas? Suggestions? Comments? Grievances to air?
