So I guess some are indeed considering "released 16 months ago" as
"extremely out of date".
Per chance, I was just reading today about how SGI is promising to
support IRIX 6.5, released in 1998, though 2013. Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 2.1, released in 2002, will be supported through 2009. And I
myself am irritated that at work, I'm going to need to retire our
Windows 2000 systems when Microsoft EOL's them in 2010.
I think you and I walk in different worlds. :)
