True, but the descriptions he used while documenting his experience
are to the contrary to that. An example:
"There isn't a single system, whether it be a PC or an entry-level
server which use embedded SATA2 RAID chipsets that will work with ESX
3i or ESX 3.5 out of the box."
They list pretty much all the raid controllers that the Linux 2.4
kernel can talk to. The list of supported boards is literally 20
pages long.
